A facelift helps to tighten sagging skin in the lower face, creating a smoother and more youthful contour. We offer many different types of facelift procedures, and each one is customized to the individual patient. You may be a facelift candidate if you have lax skin, jowls, turkey neck, or a jawline that has become soft and ill-defined.
We offer upper and lower eye lifts to help rejuvenate the eye area and help you appear younger and more awake. An upper eye lift helps with drooping eyelids, while a lower eye lift reduces the appearance of large eye bags.
We also offer Asian eyelid surgery. If you have a so-called monolid, we can create a crease for you to open up your eyes and give you more real estate for eye makeup.
If you want to enhance your cheekbones or create a stronger chin, you may benefit from cheek or chin implants. We will work very closely with you to come up with a plan that works with your features and creates facial harmony. Often, subtle changes to the cheeks or chin can help to create a more balanced appearance, and we strive to create very natural results so that people will notice you look better but won’t know what exactly you had done.
We also offer dermal fillers as an option to enhance the cheeks or chin. Dermal fillers are not permanent, so you can do a “test run” to see if you like how they look before committing to implants. Implants are permanent, but they do require surgery and recovery time.
A double chin can persist even after losing weight, and can make you appear heavier than you really are. Many options exist to help reduce fat in the neck and under the chin, but the gold standard is still liposuction. Liposuction can remove more fat in one treatment than any non-surgical option, and the results are more dramatic.
We offer both surgical and non-surgical lip augmentation procedures. If you’re interested in plumping your lips, we can talk to you about:
- Synthetic fillers
- Fat transfer
- Silicone lip implants
Fillers are the most common means of augmenting the lips, but they are not permanent and you may need to keep touching them up every 6 to 8 months. Fat transfer lasts for much longer, but will require liposuction of another area to harvest the fat from. Lip implants are a permanent option, but will require small incisions and some recovery time.
If you have a long upper lip that hides your teeth when you smile, we can perform a lip lift to raise the upper lip into a better position. A lip lift can be done under local anesthesia, and you may have some swelling and bruising afterwards.
Otoplasty and Earlobe Repair
If your ears stick out from your head and you’re self-conscious about it, you may be a candidate for an otoplasty. This surgery pins the ears back closer to the head so that they don’t stick out as much. Otoplasty can be performed on children as well as adults, if the child is the subject of bullying and his or her ears are causing emotional trauma.
We also perform earlobe repair for men or women whose earlobes have been damaged from wearing heavy earrings. If your earlobe has split or stretched out, we can repair it with minor surgery.
If you have suffered from skin cancer, a traumatic injury, or a congenital facial defect, we can help to reconstruct and repair your facial features. Facial reconstruction surgery can require a wide range of different surgical procedures and techniques, so we will walk you through your options during your consultation.
Facial reconstruction is often covered by insurance, so check with your provider.
